Fonbonne to Feature ‘Media in the Mix: A Group Exhibit’

Contact: 314-497-5468

ST. LOUIS—Media in the Mix: A Group Exhibit, featuring the work of eight local mixed-media artists, will open at Fontbonne University on May 18. The opening reception is from 6 to 8 pm at Fontbonne University’s Fine Arts Gallery, 6800 Wydown Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105.
The show is curated by mixed media artist Timothy Wagner. Wagner said he wanted to bring a variety of professional mixed-media artists together to share their vision with the St. Louis community. “The idea started out as a pop-up one weekend show, but with the support of Fontbonne University, it has turned into a one-month group exhibition,” he said. “I wanted a small group show of artists whose work meshes well,” Wagner added. The exhibit runs through June 15.
The Fontbonne Fine Arts Gallery is open Monday-Thursday 9 – 4, Friday 9-6, and Saturday noon – 4. It is closed on Sunday.
